We are obliged by Church of England rules to maintain an Electoral Roll, which is the register of all voting
church members. It qualifies those on the roll to attend and vote at our Annual Parochial Church Meeting (which this year takes place on Sunday 28 April). The Electoral Roll provides an indication of the true
membership of St Martin’s church.
The Electoral Roll is revised annually in advance of the APCM, and once every six years we renew it from scratch. This year we require EVERYONE to complete a new Electoral Roll application form. It must be
returned to St Martin’s church by Sunday 7 April at the latest.
Application forms are available from church, or you can download a copy here.
Security of your information: The completed forms are held
securely by the Electoral Roll Officer and the information used solely for Electoral Roll purposes. The Diocese only receives a
summary of the numbers; not individual names. Application forms from previous revisions of the Electoral Roll are shredded.
If you have any questions, or concerns about the Electoral Roll, please speak with the Electoral Roll Officer, David Webb.
